Senior UX/UI Designer Multibrand Platform

Project overview

As a Senior UX/UI Designer for multibrand platforms, you will work within the SitecoreAI team on Achmea's next generation of public websites. Together with business analysts, developers, and designers, you will design new Sitecore components and templates that are reusable across multiple brands. You will start with the FBTO brand and work from a broader vision of scalable solutions for multiple Achmea brands. Together with an experienced UX designer from the Design Center of Excellence, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and improving components, templates, and interaction patterns.

You will continuously seek the balance between standardization, user-friendliness, accessibility, and brand experience. You will work daily in Figma and coordinate intensively with business analysts, front-end developers, and Sitecore specialists to ensure designs are not only desirable and user-friendly but also technically feasible. Additionally, you will contribute to the further development of the Achmea Multi Design System and help set up new components that are accessible, consistent, and scalable.

We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer who can add immediate value in a complex digital environment.

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience as a UX and/or UI designer.

Demonstrable experience with design systems, component-driven design, and scalable digital platforms.

Extensive experience with Figma.

Experience with digital accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design.

Experience with multibrand environments is a strong plus.

Experience with Sitecore and/or component design within a CMS environment is a plus.

Ability to clearly substantiate design choices to business, content specialists, and developers.

Experience with Agile / SAFe working is a plus.

Independent, proactive, and comfortable in an organization with many stakeholders.

You will work on solutions used by millions of visitors to our websites and directly contribute to the digital customer experience of brands such as FBTO, Centraal Beheer, Zilveren Kruis, and other Achmea brands.

You will work within the SitecoreAI team on the development of a new multibrand platform for Achmea. In this environment, business, design, and IT work closely together on scalable digital solutions used by multiple brands. You will collaborate with UX designers, business analysts, architects, front-end developers, and Sitecore specialists on the next generation of digital platforms for Achmea. You will also be part of the Design department of the Centraal Beheer division. This department forms the Design Center of Excellence for Centraal Beheer, FBTO, Avéro, and others.

Together with approximately 20 design professionals, we work on developing generic frameworks, design systems, tooling, and craftsmanship. Our ambition is to elevate the design profession within Achmea to Champions League level.
