Project overview

As an implementation manager, you will take charge of the migration factory, connecting technical migration execution with business implementation, information management, architecture, release management, and operations.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Inventorying existing migration planning, governance, risks, and issues and taking over control
• Implementing improvements for more control, continuity, and predictability in the migration factory
• Setting up the end-to-end migration process with work packages, roles, decision-making, and capacity management
• Establishing standards for intake, cleanup, classification, mapping, validation, and handover
• Exercising integral control over migrations to M365 and CALS, with attention to metadata and authorizations
• Developing and implementing an Agile/SAFe-oriented collaboration structure
• Setting up team collaboration, backlogs, prioritization, and dependency management
• Connecting iterative planning and PI Planning to plateau planning and administrative decision-making
• Guiding employees and stakeholders in new forms of collaboration
• Setting up a release process including calendar, test and acceptance agreements, and go/no-go decision-making
• Organizing release dependencies, implementation windows, and incident handling
• Making agreements with the operations organization regarding acceptance, changes, and knowledge transfer
• Reporting on progress, quality, capacity, and risks
• HBO work and thinking level in an ICT field
• Minimum 10 years of experience leading complex IT migrations or transitions with multiple teams, suppliers, and organizational units
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Agile/SAFe in a coordinating or controlling role
• Minimum 5 years of experience preparing and coordinating complex production migrations and handovers to operations organizations
• Minimum 5 years of work experience within a provincial and/or other government organization
• Minimum 5 years of experience with release management and change processes in complex IT environments
• Experience in taking over, structuring, and professionalizing an operational migration factory
• Experience in team setup, role allocation, and backlog and prioritization processes
• Experience with chain management and multidisciplinary collaboration within complex organizations
• Managerial sensitivity and strong change management skills
• Proficiency in the Dutch language
• Availability of an average of 36 hours per week
