Solution Architect Sensors & Digital Innovation (interim)

Project overview

As a Solution Architect, you will guide the digital transformation of the supervision and detection domain at Customs IT.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Guiding complex change initiatives around Scan & Detect, AI, Video Management, E-commerce, and sensor technology
• Connecting business, technology, and suppliers
• Contributing at both solution and system architecture level and monitoring coherence in the IT landscape
• Ensuring that solutions align with architectural frameworks, security requirements, and laws and regulations
• Developing functional and non-functional requirements for IT systems and infrastructure within the sensor landscape, for a tender process for camera surveillance at border control
• Developing sustainable solutions for existing and new systems within Scan & Detect, Video Management, AI, and sensor technology
• Translating designs into concrete architectural products and requirements for future tenders and further development
• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or IT Architect in complex IT environments
• Demonstrable experience with tender processes and supplier management
• Experience with modernizing platforms and integrating hardware and software
• Extensive and thorough knowledge of IT architecture, ranging from integration architecture and security-by-design to data, AI, and digital services
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and organizational sensitivity
• Preferred: additional training in IT architecture or Business & IT Management
• Preferred: certifications such as ITIL, Prince2, SAFe, or Scrum
• Preferred: experience with sensor technology and IoT integrations
• Preferred: experience with cloud migrations and hybrid architectures
• Preferred: experience within the public sector and knowledge of GDPR and BIO
