Solution/IT [Banking] architekt

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Solution/IT Architect for an innovative project for the banking sector in Bratislava to join our TITANS freelancers team.

Project requirements

• design and development of application architecture for banking systems in the area of lending products and processes
• responsibility for the technical design of solutions, integration of existing and new applications, definition of interfaces and data flows
• assessment of technological alternatives with regard to business requirements, security, performance, availability, and scalability
• cooperation with business, IT analysts, architects, and suppliers in preparing solutions and technical specifications
• creation and maintenance of architectural models and documentation, presentation of designs to both technical and business stakeholders
• expert supervision of the implementation, integration, deployment, and testing of solutions
• ensuring compliance of proposed solutions with internal architectural standards and the bank's IT strategy
• cooperation is possible in a hybrid ON-SITE (Bratislava) + REMOTE [Home Office] mode (preferred ratio during onboarding 4:1, later 50% : 50%)
• min. 4 years of experience as a Solution/IT Architect, ideally in the banking or similar regulated financial sector
• knowledge of architectural and security standards
• advanced experience with:
• designing system architecture of banking applications and integration solutions, e.g., using UML, ArchiMate
• tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, BizzDesign Enterprise Studio, or similar platforms
• designing application integrations, REST/SOAP API, ESB, MQ, data flows, and distributed systems
• microservice architecture
• integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous)
• knowledge of the following is a big advantage:
• lending domain
• processing loan applications, credit scoring, loan approval, collateral management, claims management and recovery
• TOGAF, SAFe
• ability for excellent communication in Slovak and English (spoken and written)
• professional communication with management, managers, and experts in individual areas
• analytical, technical, and decision-making skills, ability to design alternative technological solutions
