Project overview

Context

A Luxembourg-based insurance group (life, non-life, international) is strengthening its 15-person Data team. The team is at the heart of the company: it feeds and serves all business lines (life and non-life insurance, finance, legal reporting, and even logistics topics). Two positions are open: a senior profile, a pillar of the team, and a second medior or senior profile. Long-term mission (2 years and more).

Working Conditions

• Take charge of data topics from A to Z: understand business needs, develop, test, validate, and deliver
• Develop and maintain data feeds (ETL) using SSIS
• Automate reporting (SSRS, Power BI) and data provisioning, including for AI teams
• Respect and maintain the existing technical framework (no architect role)
• Liaise with business departments to understand requirements (customer, financial, regulatory data) and challenge the request
• Apply best practices for sensitive data (GDPR, confidentiality)
• Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL
• SSIS (central to the role for the coming years), SSRS, Power BI
• Insurance and finance context
• Freelance, permanent contract, or fixed-term contract: we will find a solution as long as you are the right person
• Luxembourg, on-site, remote work 1 to 2 days per week maximum once integrated
• We are looking for people willing to come and work in Luxembourg, or even to settle there
• Long-term mission, onboarding of 3 to 6 months
• Start date: within 1 to 3 months
