Where will you work?

The Special Operations Team (SBT) is part of the ICT Service of the National Police. The SBT supports, among other things, the technical infrastructure of the digital investigation and cybercrime teams (TDO). As a 'System Specialist NSX-T' at the SBT, you will be involved in the management of the 'Digital Transferium' based on (Hyper) Converged Infrastructure (Dell Vxblock/VxRail) and the implementation of NSX-T on this platform.

Goal:

Further implementation of the NSX platform. All traffic flows must be visible and microsegmentation must be implemented.

In principle, the candidate determines their own working days and times. However, it is highly desirable to work on Thursdays at Hanzelaan 150 in Zwolle due to knowledge transfer to internal employees. A lot of coordination with internal employees will also be necessary, practically speaking, these are working days from 9 to 5.

• Implementation of intrusion detection / intrusion prevention.
• Perform acceptance testing and set up monitoring.
• Ensure knowledge transfer to internal employees so that knowledge is secured.

• There is no in-depth knowledge of VMware NSX and microsegmentation within the organization. There is no experience with the rollout of such a platform.
• Internal employees must be trained in network virtualization and microsegmentation.

• Knowledge and experience of network virtualization based on VMware NSX in sensitive environments.
