TOSCA TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER - GRONINGEN - 12 MONTHS CONTRACT

Project overview

Global Enterprise Partners is currently looking for a Tosca Test Automation Engineer for our client located in Groningen.

We are specifically looking for an experienced test automation engineer with several years of practical experience in low-code environments such as Pega and Mendix. He will build stable and maintainable regression tests, automate chain tests, and work closely with developers, analysts, and product owners within Agile teams. He has knowledge of setting up reusable API and Front End tests in Tosca and preferably also other frameworks based on Java, .NET or Python such as Reqnroll, Playwright, Selenium, and so on.

The candidate speaks and writes fluent Dutch, lives in the North of the Netherlands, and is available to work on-site in Groningen for at least two days a week.

Must haves

Technical skills

Building modules, test cases, reusability patterns, TBox, steering parameters.

Understanding of dynamic UI components, case structures, and rule flows.

JSON, REST, basic authentication, simple contract validation.

(Not as a primary task but necessary within a Pega landscape where many services are called.)

Working with synthetic data, subsets, managing test sets.

Many Pega implementations run in chains with various dependencies.

Filters, case types, decision tables.

Often needed for Pega's case-driven Back End.

Experience with other test automation frameworks based on Java, .NET or Python such as Reqnroll, Playwright, Selenium

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Tosca
• Experience with testing within Pega or similar low-code platforms
• Automating regression tests and chain tests in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of selectors, dynamic fields, and recognizing techniques that present extra challenges in Pega for screen recognition.

• Residing in the North of the Netherlands, preferably the Groningen, Drenthe, or Friesland region.
• Willingness to work on-site in Groningen for at least two days a week.

• ISTQB Advanced Test Automation Engineer
• Tricentis Certified Automation Engineer and relevant certifications in test case design and test case automation with Tosca.
• PSM I/DASA DevOps 1

• Experience with risk-based testing in Pega flows
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validations
