Interstate Waste Services (IWS) is hiring an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic A to join our maintenance team in Valley Cottage, NY.

Salary Range Minimum: USD $35.00/Hr. Salary Range Maximum: USD $52.00/Hr.

• 5+ years of heavy-duty diesel mechanic experience
• Diesel mechanic experience required
• Strong hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience
• Engine, transmission, and chassis repair expertise
• Experience with Cummins, Mack, Allison, Peterbilt, Paccar, and diagnostic software tools
• Experience maintaining air brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems
• Ability to diagnose and repair DPF/emissions systems
• Must provide own tools
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Diesel Truck Mechanic
• Refuse Truck Technician
• Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• Fleet Maintenance Technician
• Waste & Recycling Industry Experience
• ASE Certifications (Preferred)
