The role involves the technical assessment and tracking of platform-specific offshore wind farm approval requirements from German authorities. The freelancer will ensure timely implementation of these requirements within the project.
Responsibilities
Independent technical assessment and tracking of platform-specific orders relevant to offshore converter platforms from the planning approval decisions, including plausibility checks of the submitted proof and release documents, assessment of authority comments, and ensuring the timely implementation of requirements in the project. The P-orders include the regulatory requirements for the planning, manufacturing, transport, and erection of an offshore converter platform.

- Active tracking of orders involving the respective technically responsible persons in the project
- Plausibility check of proof, approval, and release documents
- Preparation of authority applications
- Ensuring timely submission of documents
- Assessment and coordination of feedback from the involved authorities
- Identification of deviations, risks, and action requirements
- Active tracking and coordination of open points until proof of fulfillment
- Maintenance of results in an order and proof register (Think Projekt)

- Demonstrable experience in BSH (Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency) offshore approval management
- Practical experience with German EEZ (Exclusive Economic Zone) permits
- Experience in processing and handling orders/conditions from BSH planning approval decisions or BSH permits
- Very good knowledge of the Wind Energy at Sea Act (WindSeeG)
- Very good knowledge of the relevant BSH standards
- Knowledge of the Spatial Development Plan (FEP)
- Experience in permit execution, not just in the creation or application for permits
- Ability to independently take on approval-related work packages and complete them until the respective order is fully fulfilled
- Experience with Think Projekt
