Job description
We are looking for a freelance material tester to perform non-destructive testing on welds, monitor manufacturing quality, and conduct incoming goods inspections. The role requires qualifications in non-destructive testing (VT, UT, MT) and experience in steel construction.
Responsibilities
+ Creation and maintenance of documentation using predefined Excel templates
+ Performance of non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds
+ Monitoring of manufacturing quality and execution of quality controls
+ Random testing of externally processed components upon delivery and incoming goods inspection

Requirements
+ Experience in welding technology, ideally in steel construction, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical field
+ Qualification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 (no certification according to the American ASME standard)
+ Certification in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT), particularly for visual testing (VT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT)
+ Experience in steel construction and bridge construction, ideally in projects for Deutsche Bahn
+ Very good German language skills
