Job description
The role involves creating and maintaining documentation, performing non-destructive testing on welds, and monitoring manufacturing quality. Experience in welding technology, particularly in steel or mechanical engineering, is required.
Project overview
+ Creation and maintenance of documentation using predefined Excel templates
+ Performance of non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds
+ Monitoring of manufacturing quality and execution of quality controls
+ Random testing of externally processed components upon delivery and during incoming goods inspection
Requirements
+ Experience in welding technology, ideally in steel construction, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical environment
+ Qualification according to DIN EN ISO 9712 (not certification according to the American ASME standard)
+ Certification in non-destructive testing (NDT), particularly for visual testing (VT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and magnetic particle testing (MT)
+ Experience in steel construction and bridge construction, ideally in Deutsche Bahn projects
+ Very good German language skills
