HMI and SCADA Application Engineer

Responsibilities

+ Development and maintenance of the customer's HMI and SCADA system for gas engines and power plant facilities

+ Configuration of user interfaces (screens), alarms, tags, and historical data logging within the customer's HMI/SCADA framework

+ Creation of reusable templates and scripts to simplify customer-specific customizations and increase productivity

+ Project execution using agile methods (e.g., SCRUM)

+ Collaboration with PLC software developers and system administrators on the introduction of new functions

+ Technical coordination with customers, plant operators, and service personnel to ensure high user-friendliness and system acceptance

+ Error analysis and third-level remote support for HMI/SCADA systems in the field

+ Execution of extensive validations and tests to ensure quality and reliability

+ Creation of technical documentation and user manuals

Requirements

+ Very good knowledge of SCADA systems such as Bachmann Atvise, WinCC, Zenon, Intouch

+ Experience in measurement, control, and regulation technology for industrial plants (ideally power plant or water treatment plants)

+ Basic knowledge of JavaScript scripting and programming language
