26299 - Business Engineer Payments

Responsibilities

For our client in the financial services sector, we are looking for an experienced Business Engineer Payments / Business Analyst to support a strategic project in the area of payment transactions and business continuity management.

• Analysis, conception, and documentation of functional and technical requirements for an emergency operation solution in payment transactions
• Creation of Epics, Features, and User Stories as a basis for technical implementation
• Definition of interface requirements and data flows between internal systems, data adapters, and external software solutions
• End-to-end support of change requests up to productive introduction
• Coordination with business departments, IT, software suppliers, and business continuity management
• Ensuring regulatory requirements according to FINMA circular 2023/1
• Support of functional acceptance, tests, and creation of documentation and training materials

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or Business Administration
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Engineer or Business Analyst
• Sound knowledge in payment transactions, especially ISO 20022 as well as CAMT and MX messages
• Experience in requirements engineering, process modeling, and creation of functional concepts
• Good knowledge of IT system integrations, interfaces, and data flows
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or SAFe
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Ideally, experience with BCM, MiniSIC, or emergency operation solutions
• IREB or ITIL certification is an advantage
• Strong analytical and communication skills as well as independent working style
• German C2 and English C1
