Education level: HBO (Bachelor)

You have a diploma at HBO (Bachelor) level or equivalent through EVC. Or you have at least two years of demonstrable experience at the required work and thinking level. This must be demonstrated with your CV, supplemented with an official job description, vacancy text, or other document clearly stating the required work and thinking level.

Requirements

The candidate possesses a valid/active network certification CCNP

The candidate has at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a Network Specialist / Designer.

The candidate has at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience with Cisco ACI.

Wishes:

The candidate possesses a valid/active network certification CCDevP

The candidate possesses a valid/active network certification CCIE

The candidate has at least 2 years of demonstrable work experience with Firewalls.

In the past 5 years, the candidate has at least 2 years of demonstrable work experience with 1 or more of the following topics: Citrix Netscalers, ISE and/or Wireless.

The candidate has at least 3 years of demonstrable work experience with Cisco and Security.

The candidate has demonstrable work experience with Cisco DevNet.

The candidate has demonstrable work experience with the methodologies: Agile, Scrum and/or DevOps.

The candidate has demonstrable work experience within a large government organization (+1000 employees) as a Network Specialist.

Assignment description

Team Networks, part of the IT Services department, is responsible for the management (and thus development) of all network security infrastructure. The team does this in accordance with agreements with the service line managers and other teams within IT Services. This is done under centrally established architecture and from a standard product portfolio.

The Agile Datacenter team is part of Team Networks. For temporary reinforcement of this team for, among other things, LMS risk mitigation project work, we are looking for a DevNet engineer with in-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI and Enterprise environments.

Activities:

The activities focus mainly on:

Creating automation scripts for the team's objectives

Supporting colleagues in using these scripts

Maintenance and further development of scripts managed by the team

Supporting colleagues in devising test plans and executing tests

Assisting in creating scripts for test automation

Supporting and advising projects in the field of network automation and test automation.

Investigating problems in the field of network testing and automation.
