3D Development Wiring Harness

Project overview

As a 3D Developer for wiring harnesses, you will play a central role in the technical implementation of innovative wiring harness solutions in the automotive sector, working on demanding components and special cables.

You will create and edit 3D designs for components and special cables.

You will precisely implement technical requirements, design specifications, and project-specific standards in CATIA V5.

You will coordinate your designs with development, project management, manufacturing, and other involved departments.

You will check your work results for technical feasibility, installation situation, quality, and completeness.

You will maintain relevant design data and consider changes throughout the entire development process.

You will support the structured documentation, tracking, and timely implementation of development tasks.

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for a technically experienced personality with several years of professional experience in 3D design in the automotive environment and with wiring harness systems, cables, or vehicle technology components. Practical knowledge of the development tools used and the willingness to use your own licenses for the required applications are particularly important.

You have several years of professional experience in 3D design or a comparable technical development function.

You are proficient in CATIA V5 EHI and routinely use the system for constructive development tasks.

You have practical knowledge of ELENA and X-PECT.

You bring the required own licenses for the mentioned applications.

You have completed technical training or a technical degree, for example in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
