Due to the client's compliance requirements, employment is exclusively possible as a permanent employee of a company or via a subcontractor. Freelancers and one-person companies (e.g., 1-person GmbH) cannot be considered.

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with a technical focus on test automation. As part of a consulting project for dispatch and control systems in the transport sector, you will analyze existing test automation landscapes, develop technical target states and reference architectures, and advise on the selection, setup, and integration of suitable tools, frameworks, and continuous testing approaches.

Job Description

Must-Have Requirements

More than 5 years of experience in test management or quality management of software projects

More than 3 years of experience in the conception, introduction, or further development of test automation solutions

At least 2 references in the creation and further development of test strategies, test concepts, or test automation concepts

More than 3 years of extensive experience with test management tools (Xray, Jira, ALM, Zephyr, or comparable)

ISTQB Foundation Level or comparable certification in the testing environment

German language skills at least at level C1

• Consulting on the development, coordination, and further development of strategies, standards, and process models in the field of test automation
• Analyzing existing test processes, test automation solutions, and tools used, and deriving optimization measures
• Creating and updating test automation and quality concepts for different test levels and types
• Consulting on the selection, evaluation, and introduction of suitable test automation tools, frameworks, and technical methods
• Consulting on setting up and further developing approaches for integrating automated tests into development, test, and release processes
• Consulting on the definition and further development of suitable key figures, quality criteria, and control mechanisms for test automation
• Providing technical advice and coaching to test managers, testers, developers, and other stakeholders on methods, tools, and best practices for test automation, as well as supporting the development of corresponding skills and team structures
• Creating and maintaining documentation, decision proposals, and action recommendations in the context of test automation; final decisions are made by the client
