ABAP Developer with MM/PM Experience and Rail Industry Background

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced ABAP developer for a remote project starting January 2027. The candidate should have sound knowledge of SAP modules MM (Materials Management) and PM (Plant Maintenance) as well as practical experience in the rail industry.

Responsibilities

The developer will independently analyze and evaluate existing systems and check them against defined target architectures. They will program and implement technical components, perform customizing, and develop interfaces and database structures. The client's standards and programming guidelines will be adhered to.

Further responsibilities include writing documented, efficient code, fixing test errors, and creating technical documentation and system manuals. The candidate will design and develop user-centric, cloud-based web applications, perform testing and debugging, and ensure quality standards are met.

In addition, the developer will participate in project planning, code reviews, and technical meetings to provide regular updates to project management.

Requirements

Extensive ABAP development experience, solid knowledge of MM and PM, and proven project experience in the rail industry are required. The candidate should be proficient in cloud technologies and have experience with modern software development practices.

Services will be provided entirely from Germany (Onshore). Applications should clearly demonstrate all required qualifications in the CV.
