Responsibilities

• Recording and monitoring of all business transactions, including revenues, expenses, and incoming/outgoing invoices
• Booking of liabilities and receivables
• Document management for several companies or organizational units
• Processing of payments
• Account reconciliations and cash book management
• Preparation and participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Preparation of VAT pre-declarations
• Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and tax auditors
• Further development, optimization, and documentation of accounting processes

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, further training as a certified accountant, or comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Ideally, experience in tax consulting or in supporting multiple clients or companies
• Sound knowledge of German commercial and tax law (HGB)
• Confident use of digital applications and document management systems
• Structured, self-reliant, and reliable way of working
• Strong process understanding
• Team-oriented and proactive personality
