Project overview

I am currently looking for an Interim Manager for Accounting / Senior Accountant to provide short-term support for an exciting company in the industrial project business.

Interim Manager Accounting (m/f/d) – Northern Germany | Start: immediately Remote share: by arrangement

Our client is a successfully operating industrial company that is looking for short-term reinforcement for its finance team to ensure continued transparency and stability in financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Support and management of the fast-close process
• Taking over commercial order processing as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable management, including dunning
• Management and further development of liquidity planning in coordination with adjacent departments
• Support of insurance and contract management, including cooperation with banks and external partners
• Analysis and optimization of existing financial and accounting processes as well as active participation in digitalization

Requirements

Strong understanding of the complete commercial order cycle (from order to invoicing)

• Successfully completed qualification as a certified accountant, tax assistant, or a degree with a focus on accounting/finance
• Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting, ideally in an industrial environment with project business
• Very good, practically tested knowledge of MS Dynamics as well as modern reporting and BI tools
• Sound knowledge of HGB as well as experience in liquidity and receivables management
• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
