FULLY REMOTE FROM EUROPE - Actuary Developer position.

I’m working with a client in the specialty insurance and reinsurance sector who is looking for someone who can bridge the gap between actuarial pricing, quantitative modelling and software development. We are looking for a Actuary Developer.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning complex pricing models into practical, production-ready tools, working closely with both technical and commercial teams.

A little more about the opportunity:

They’re particularly interested in candidates who combine strong programming skills with an understanding of insurance pricing, risk modelling or underwriting workflows etc.

We need someone that has been bing both actuary and software developer langauges together, to bridge between the IT team and the IT team

• Fully remote position – work remotely while collaborating with an international team.
• Hands-on development – use Python and SQL to build, enhance and maintain pricing models and tools.
• Pricing and modelling – help translate actuarial models and analytical insights into practical solutions.
• Systems integration – develop APIs and connect pricing models with existing underwriting and quotation systems.
• Cross-functional collaboration – work directly with actuaries, data scientists and underwriters.
• End-to-end ownership – take solutions from model development through to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
