Develop critical railway software in ADA for an ATP train protection system, adhering to strict safety standards (EN 50128 SIL4 or DO-178C DAL A) and V-model development processes.
Project overview
In the railway sector, you will act as a software developer on an ATP train protection system composed of several software components.
You will participate in the development of critical software in ADA language, in an environment compliant with the EN 50128:2011 SIL4 standard or the DO-178C DAL A standard.
The activities will be carried out according to a V-model cycle, with strong requirements for requirements traceability, documentation, and adherence to software development processes.
Responsibilities
Profile sought
You have proven experience in software development with the ADA language, ideally gained in the railway sector or in another critical software environment.
Expected skills are:
Autonomous and motivated, you know how to find the information necessary for the completion of your activities. You are able to quickly assimilate a large volume of information and work effectively in a context subject to tight deadlines.
- Analyze software anomalies.
- Develop technical solutions to correct identified anomalies.
- Implement software evolutions related to change requests for baseline 4 of the ERTMS standard.
- Perform debugging and informal testing of developed evolutions.
- Deliver software components within the configuration management system.
- Update associated software documentation, including specifications, design documents, and version sheets.
- Ensure traceability between requirements, design, code, and tests.
- Comply with project-specific coding rules.
- Mastery of software development in ADA language.
- Experience with the EN 50128:2011 SIL4 standard or the DO-178C DAL A standard.
- Good mastery of the V-model development cycle.
- Experience in requirements traceability and software documentation.
- Ability to analyze anomalies and define appropriate technical solutions.
- Experience in implementation, debugging, and informal testing.
- Knowledge of software configuration management principles.
- Ability to write and update specifications, design documents, and version sheets.
- Strict adherence to coding rules.
- Knowledge of ATP systems, the ERTMS standard, and its baseline 4 is a major asset.
