Advisor Contracts Lock Renovation (Interim)

Project overview

As a contract advisor, you are responsible for concluding and managing contracts for the renovation of five locks in Zeeland.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Advising on and guiding the conclusion of contracts, including 2-phase contracts with a portfolio approach, for the Zandkreek Lock, Hansweert Lock, Grevelingen Lock, Roompot Lock, and Bergse Diep Lock
• Directing the concluded contracts and being responsible for system-oriented contract management (SCB)
• Verifying whether the contractor meets the contract requirements through system, process, and product checks
• Engaging in discussions with the contractor when agreements are not met or requirements are not fulfilled
• Acting as a point of contact for the contracts and discussing progress with the project team
• Maintaining contact with the internal client and the infrastructure managers
• Identifying and sharing improvement opportunities in the procurement and contract management process
• Completed HBO education or equivalent level
• Minimum 3 years of experience with 2-phase renovation projects in wet infrastructure
• At least 3 years of experience working according to a portfolio approach
• At least 10 years of experience in collaboration within a contract and/or project team
• A valid VOL-VCA certificate and a valid GPI
• Experience with contract management and system-oriented contract management (SCB) within Rijkswaterstaat is a plus
• Knowledge of and experience with contract forms such as 2-Phase, D&C, engineering services, and performance contracts, and conditions such as UAV-GC and ARVODI
• Experience with the IPM model within the field of contract management is a plus
