Advisor Technical Management

Project overview

Assignment description: We are looking for an advisor for Technical Management for the plan development phase of the dike reinforcement project Pannerden-Westervoort. In the plan development phase, work will be done on carefully integrating the preferred alternative with attention to any adverse effects by elaborating mitigating and/or compensating measures. Within this phase, customized locations, design tasks, and co-investment opportunities, and the required preparation needed to arrive at a project decision and tender to the contractor will be addressed.

For the IPM team, we are looking for an advisor for Technical Management. From your position: You are part of the technical team You report to the Technical Manager on progress, outstanding actions, and necessary decisions You coordinate with designers, contract advisors, and environmental advisors You monitor the coherence between the different technical disciplines You prepare the technical choices and decision-making documents and record decisions.

You ensure the feasibility, sustainability, and future management & maintenance in the design You are able to understand and integrally weigh technical requirements from (internal and external) stakeholders. You seek the optimum between costs, requirements, and wishes.

Requirements

HBO/WO work and thinking level A preference for at least 5 years of work experience in a comparable field with IPM project teams Extensive experience in (preferably the plan development phase of) dike reinforcement projects You are able to be critical of your own work and that of others and know how to separate main and minor issues. You are strong enough to manage internal and external partners. A proactive, self-directed attitude and a high degree of commitment and flexibility, goal-oriented and decisive. VCA-VOL
