Responsibilities

Important Note on the Selection Process:

As the client strictly evaluates profiles based on documented evidence, the required years of experience and key figures (especially company size with > 5,000 users and > 50 interfaces) must be clearly and verifiably stated in the respective project stations of your profile. Profiles without these explicit proofs cannot be considered in the awarding process.

• Architecture & Solution Design: Analysis of current states, development of future-proof target architectures, and evaluation of solution options in the SAP S/4HANA QM environment, including interface connections.
• Customizing & Development: Functional customizing and implementation of decided solutions, creation of usable Proofs of Concepts (PoC), and development of customer-specific enhancements (BAdIs, User-Exits, OData services).
• Driving Lighthouse Projects: Further development and support of the digitalization of manufacturing-related documents (DiKa) and functional consulting in the context of Digital Quality Management (DQM).
• Stakeholder & Workshop Management: Functional moderation, preparation, and execution of workshops for requirements alignment and harmonization between business departments and IT.
• Standardization & Cost Optimization: Consulting on adherence to SAP standards for long-term reduction of maintenance and operating costs.
• Know-how Transfer & Mentoring: Functional and technical mentoring on the client side, as well as conducting pair programming activities for internal knowledge retention.

Requirements

• Principal Level in SAP S/4HANA QM (> 7 years): Many years of experience in consulting, functional design, and architecture in SAP QM and its close integration with logistics modules PM, PP, and MM.
• Enterprise Scaling (> 7 years): Demonstrable experience with customizing and implementing SAP QM in complex large-scale environments (> 5,000 users and > 50 interfaces).
• QM Core Competencies (> 7 years): Deep expert knowledge in quality master data, quality planning, quality inspection, quality notifications, defect recording, and SAP Fiori Apps for QM under S/4HANA.
• Enhancements & Integration (> 5 years): Practical implementation of customer-specific SAP add-ons using BAdIs, User-Exits, and creation/connection of OData services.
• S/4HANA Integration Practice (> 3 years): Concrete project experience in the S/4HANA environment for integrating QM with PM, PP, and MM.
• Language Proficiency: German (C2)

Project Context & Scope of Work

The SAP ISI project addresses IT solutions in the demanding domain of Maintenance Rolling Stock and Facilities. The tasks include defining and designing functional application architectures, as well as further developing and integrating SAP solutions within a highly networked system landscape (> 5,000 users, > 50 interfaces). A significant focus is on the continued support of the lighthouse project for the digitalization of manufacturing-related documents (DiKa) and the connection to the follow-up project Digital Quality Management (DQM).
