Microsoft SQL & .NET Developer (m/f/d) – Part-time (0.5 FTE)

For the further development of the central financial IT applications (ZAS / ABRPortal) at a leading IT service provider in the mobility and rail sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior .NET & MS SQL Developer (m/f/d) starting from 01.01.2027.

The client conducts a strict formal pre-screening. All required minimum durations, technologies, and the required number of reference projects must be explicitly, completely, and unambiguously traceable in the project stations of the CV. Profiles from which the required criteria and reference quantities cannot be clearly identified will be strictly excluded from the further awarding process by the client.

Project Context & Tasks

The goal is the continuous further development of ZAS (Central Billing System) and the associated ABRPortal, through which all billing data is checked, consolidated, and billed via internal cost allocation.

Requirements Profile

Must-Have Criteria (Mandatory Minimum Requirements – must be documented in the CV):

• Project Start: 01.01.2027
• Duration: 12 months (until 31.12.2027)
• Volume: approx. 120 person-days (part-time / approx. 0.5 FTE – ideal to combine with other projects)
• Location: 100% remote (Client location: Frankfurt am Main)
• Daily Rate: €600 – €700 all-in (net per PD)
• Application Deadline: As soon as possible (internal deadline: 03.11.2026)
• Development: Writing clean, performant, and fully documented code in the Microsoft technology stack according to DB Systel standards.
• Architecture & Conception: Participation in the planning, design, and implementation of software components, as well as further development of the data model.
• Quality Assurance: Unit/integration tests, debugging, bug fixing, and active participation in peer code reviews.
• Team & Coordination: Close cross-functional collaboration in agile coordination rounds and provision of regular status updates.
• Microsoft .NET: At least 5 years of current practical experience in software development with Microsoft .NET (Senior Level).
• MS SQL Server & T-SQL: At least 5 years of practical experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL (Senior Level).
• Data Modeling: At least 5 project references in the design of data models and database architectures.
• ASP.NET Web Applications: At least 3 years of experience in developing modern web applications with ASP.NET.
• Finance / Billing Environment: At least 5 project references in the new development or further development of financial, billing, or controlling systems.
• Language Skills: German at near-native level (C2 mandatory).

• Rail / Transport Company Experience (25% B-rating): More than 5 years of experience as a software developer at a railway transport company (EVU).
• Interfaces & System Integration (25% B-rating): More than 3 years of experience in interface design and connecting third-party systems.
• Long-Term Projects (20% B-rating): At least 3 project references, each with a project duration of 12 months.
• Software Architecture (20% B-rating): At least 3 project references with an explicit focus on software architecture.
• Performance Tuning (10% B-rating): At least 3 project references in the area of database performance optimization.
