Java Backend Developer (Remote)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer for a project with a duration of three months. The assignment is fully remote.

Responsibilities

You will develop, test, and integrate complex, performance-optimized software and frameworks. Furthermore, you will locate and fix software errors, create sub-concepts for the further development of software development processes, and support the technical management of project groups as well as the creation of functional concepts.

Requirements

Basic knowledge (approx. 2 years of experience): Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level, as well as knowledge in secure software development (Secure Design Principles, Secure Coding).

In-depth knowledge (3-5 years of experience): OOA/OOD, UML, Model Driven Architecture, relational database management systems (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL), SQL, unit and performance tests, version control (Git, SVN), various operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows), container technologies, as well as CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Nexus).

Specialist knowledge (over 5 years of experience): J(2)EE/EJB, multi-tier applications, application servers (Oracle WebLogic, Payara), persistence layers (Hibernate, JPA), Spring Framework, agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, Clean Code Development).
