Must-Have Criteria (Mandatory)

• Migration Strategy & Conception: Development and ongoing refinement of the migration strategy, approach model, wave planning, test strategy, and cutover and hypercare planning.
• Analysis & Mapping: Analysis of data models and interfaces from source systems into the target architecture; definition of migration objects, transformation, and functional validation rules.
• Data Quality & Cleansing: Conception and execution of cross-source system data quality analyses, definition of cleansing measures, and tracking of data cleansing status.
• Testing & Reconciliation: Conception, execution, and evaluation of test migrations, including reconciliation procedures (target/actual data comparison) and defect management.
• Service Provider & Interface Management: Functional quality assurance and acceptance of deliverables from external migration service providers; coordination with SAP teams, source/target system owners, and business departments; preparation of management documents ready for decision-making.
• Experience Level: Minimum 7 years of practical experience as Workstream Lead or sub-project manager in complex data migration programs (Principal Level).
• Volume Proof (2 references): Leadership of a productive migration as Workstream Lead / TPL with more than * migrated contracts, assets, or customer objects each.
• System Complexity (1 reference): Migration from at least 3 source systems within a cohesive project.
• Business Domain (2 references): Functionally responsible role (TPL, Lead Business Analyst) in the introduction of leasing, fleet, or financing processes.
• Language Skills: German fluent in spoken and written (minimum C1).

• Experience with MILES (Sofico) or comparable standard software for vehicle leasing/fleet management (integrated depiction of contract creation, management, billing, and termination) (30% weighting).
• Consistent practical experience in data quality analysis, mapping/transformation rules, and reconciliation in migration projects (25% weighting).
• Sound testing experience: Test concepts, execution of at least two test migrations, and defect management (15% weighting).
• Support of large programs with > 2 years duration over at least two migration waves/releases (10% weighting).
• Experience in risk, escalation, and service provider management at management level (20% weighting).

Project Background

Within the Fleet Forward transformation program, DB Connect GmbH is replacing its long-standing FLEETperfect system with a modular target architecture. A central component is the introduction of the MILES (Sofico) leasing and fleet management platform, integrated into CRM, ERP, and SAP S/4HANA landscapes.

For the "Transformation & Data Migration" service package, we are looking for an experienced Lead Data Migration Expert / Transformation Consultant. You will be responsible for the functional, methodological, and technical control of the migration of all master, transactional, contract, asset, and customer data across multiple migration waves.
