Agile Coach with focus on Team Development, Change Management and Organizational Development

Project overview

Dear Freelancers,

For one of our clients, we are looking for an experienced Agile Coach with a focus on team development, change management, and organizational development.

As part of a comprehensive transformation, an existing software development team of around 50 employees (30 internal and 20 external) is to be further developed organizationally and methodologically. We are looking for a proactive, results-oriented personality who not only accompanies changes but actively drives them forward.

Framework Conditions:

• Start: Short notice / by arrangement
• Duration: At least until the end of March 2027
• Utilization: Approx. 30-32 hours per week
• Remote / On-site: Predominantly remote, occasional presence by arrangement (approx. 1x per month)

Responsibilities

• Accompanying the agile transformation and further development of existing team structures
• Establishment and optimization of agile working methods and Scrum processes
• Coaching of development teams, Product Owners, and managers
• Support with difficult team dynamics and change processes
• Promotion of self-responsibility, commitment, quality awareness, and a sustainable learning culture
• Conducting capability mapping and identifying individual development needs
• Clarification of roles, responsibilities, and expectations within the organization
• Identification of resistance to change and development and implementation of concrete measures

Requirements

Important: We are explicitly not looking for a purely methodological Scrum Master, but for a proactive Agile Coach who can also activate challenging teams, strategically position changes, and independently drive their implementation.

• Several years of experience as an Agile Coach in complex IT or software development organizations
• Sound knowledge of Scrum, agile methods, and team development
• Experience in change management and organizational development
• Experience in coaching managers and Product Owners
• Knowledge of capability mapping, role development, and competence building
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and hands-on mentality
• Very high initiative, proactivity, and implementation strength
• Ideally, a technical background in software engineering
