AI Building Engineer / Senior Java Spring Boot – Vue.js Developer

Project overview

Context

For a major player in mass retail, we are looking for a senior engineer to join a small product team (less than 5 people, with a Tech Lead) responsible for the complete overhaul of the in-store checkout system. The objective: replace an aging solution with a modern, modular, and real-time architecture, integrating AI at the core of the processes. High-criticality project, with 2 to 3 workstreams conducted in parallel.

• Design and integrate AI components into a microservices and event-driven architecture, connected in real-time to the IS
• Deploy predictive and automation models for omnichannel checkout
• Integrate intelligent assistance features into checkout interfaces to streamline the work of sales staff
• Optimize flows and processes to reduce waiting time in-store
• Use AI for anomaly detection, error prevention, and securing checkout flows
• Ensure the performance, high availability, and compliance of models in production
