We are looking for an experienced AI Developer for industrial AI applications to support the further development and automation of machine learning processes and the creation of monitoring solutions for Edge AI services.
Project overview
For our client, we are looking for an experienced AI Developer for industrial AI applications to support the further development and automation of machine learning processes as well as the creation of monitoring solutions for Edge AI services.
Responsibilities
Automation and further development of existing ML training pipelines and integration into support processes
Development and validation of simulation-based models for filling processes
Automated optimization of controller parameters in simulations and validation on the real test setup in the filling laboratory
Setup and expansion of Databricks-based monitoring solutions for monitoring data quality, data drifts, and control loop performance
Development of automated notifications for quality and performance deviations
Conception and implementation of observability and monitoring solutions for Edge AI services with OpenTelemetry
Collection, visualization, and alerting of metrics and logs, as well as setup of end-to-end monitoring from Edge to Cloud
Requirements
Several years of experience in the development of industrial AI and machine learning applications, ideally at a senior level with over 5 years of professional experience
Sound knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark/PySpark, and data engineering
Experience with Databricks or comparable platforms as well as data lakes and lakehouse architectures, preferably in AWS
Knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch as well as ML pipeline orchestration and automation, e.g., with MLflow
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Edge and Cloud applications
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and data quality tools, e.g., DQX
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation, as well as Git
Desirable: Knowledge of Reinforcement Learning and AI-assisted programming

Remote, Approx. 3 days / quarter in Bavaria
