Our client is looking to hire an AI Developer (Fullstack) to join them on an initial 6-month contract. This role is focused on immediate, hands-on delivery, applying AI driven software engineering to build and ship product outcomes.

The successful candidate will bring a strong full-stack engineering background, practical cloud infrastructure capability, and a modern understanding of AI-driven development practices. They will contribute directly to the delivery of current product outcomes, applying AI-first techniques to build, test, and ship software.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions across Front End and Back End services.
• Contribute to the delivery of key product and project milestones as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Build and support cloud-native solutions using AWS services and modern deployment practices.
• Apply AI-assisted development techniques to improve speed, quality, and consistency across the software development life cycle.
• Contribute to specification-driven development approaches, helping translate business and product intent into structured engineering outputs.
• Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code in day-to-day delivery.
• Work closely with Product, Delivery, QA, and Platform colleagues to ensure solutions are robust, maintainable, and aligned to delivery goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve development efficiency through the practical use of AI tooling and workflow optimisation.
• Delivering high-quality code and technical solutions aligned to agreed requirements and timescales.
• Supporting continuity of delivery across existing engineering workstreams.
• Bringing practical knowledge of AI-enabled development into day-to-day team workflows.
• Ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned to architectural standards.
• Helping reduce delivery risk, rework, and inefficiencies through modern engineering practices.
• Strong experience in full-stack software development, with capability across both Front End and Back End technologies.
• Proven experience with modern Front End frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, or similar.
• Strong Back End development skills, including API design and service-based architecture.
• Proficiency in one or more Back End languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native development, including relevant managed services.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and modern release practices.
• Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals including testing, maintainability, performance, and security.
• Experience working in agile product or project delivery environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
• Knowledge of specification-driven development approaches.
• Experience using tools such as Kiro or similar AI-enabled engineering platforms.
• Familiarity with LLMs and their practical application within software delivery.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automated deployment tooling.
