Constellations is seeking freelance AI Engineers to design and implement AI solutions for business challenges. The role involves building AI agents, automations, and reusable AI product components within client squads.

Context
Constellations is a strategy consulting firm founded by BCG, OC&C, and EY-Parthenon alumni. Six independent partners work with general management, executive committees, and investment funds, with teams composed entirely of independents.

In production, for us, means: real users, quality measured and monitored over time, controlled costs, and a client team capable of maintaining the solution without us. Non-exhaustive sectors: luxury, retail, telecom, industry, private equity.
We are looking for several AI Engineers for these ongoing missions and proposals.

- Agents that take charge of part of a process, with expanded autonomy on measured results
- Automations that remove repetitive tasks between tools and systems
- Reusable AI products from one mission to another, for a sector or a type of client
- Internal tools for business teams
- Build AI solutions within a small squad, supervised by a technical lead and a partner involved in the mission
- Develop AI agents, automations, and product components: tool calling, multi-step workflows, RAG, orchestration, connection to client data and tools
- Build test sets and evaluate outputs, measure quality, cost, and latency
- Industrialize deliverables: tests, containers, CI/CD, observability, documentation so the client team can take over
- Present demos and technical choices to the client team
- Capitalize on reusable components and bricks

- Experience: 1 to 4 years in development, including at least one delivered LLM project
- Location: France, remote and hybrid depending on the mission
