Seeking a senior AI Governance and Compliance Specialist for a 100% remote role starting January 2027 until December 2029, focusing on implementing the EU AI Act within a public administration AI program.
Project overview
For an AI program in public administration, we are looking for an experienced specialist from January 2027, fully remote with a duration until the end of 2029. The program brings AI applications from idea to operation and anchors them in the organization.

A security clearance (Ü2) is necessary for the project. It will be newly conducted for the project. Willingness is sufficient, an existing clearance is not required. The prerequisite for this is German citizenship.
- Implement regulatory requirements for AI, especially the EU AI Act
- Build a governance model with roles, approval, and escalation processes
- Develop guidelines and standards for AI use
- Design risk and control mechanisms
- 2 years AI Governance and Compliance
- 3 years Stakeholder Management
- 2 years consulting senior management in public administration
- Fundamentals in IT Security and AI projects
- German C1+, English B1+
- Professional experience at a senior level
