Job description
Seeking an AI Product Lead with end-to-end responsibility for AI products, from ideation to continuous development. The role involves translating business needs into AI solutions and managing development cycles.
Project overview
For our long-standing client, we are looking for an AI Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Holistic responsibility for AI products, from idea and MVP through launch to continuous further development.
- Translation of complex business requirements into scalable AI use cases and product solutions.
- Definition and prioritization of MVP scope, user journeys, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Management of 6- to 8-week development and delivery cycles together with engineering, AI, and consulting teams.
- Evaluation of suitable AI approaches, including Generative AI, RAG, and agent-based workflows.
- Definition and monitoring of AI quality regarding accuracy, reliability, cost, latency, security, and user trust.
- Management of senior stakeholders and confident communication of priorities, conflicting goals, and product decisions.
- Management of user tests, user acceptance, and continuous product optimization.
Requirements
- Many years of project experience in product management, product leadership, or a comparable consulting/product role.
- Proven practical experience in implementing AI/GenAI products from MVP through launch to further development.
- Very good understanding of LLMs, RAG, agent-based workflows, and methods for evaluating AI systems.
- Good technical understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and AI architectures. Programming skills are not required.
- Product Owner and/or Agile certification.
- Experience in strategy consulting or professional services is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial understanding, structured problem-solving skills, and very good stakeholder management skills.
- Confident communication with senior and executive stakeholders.
- Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience in pricing, revenue management, or commercial strategy.
- Knowledge in LLMOps/MLOps or Enterprise AI Governance.
