Job description

As an Analytics Engineer within the IT Governance & FinOps team, you will be responsible for the data roadmap, optimizing and developing data assets from GCP to Power BI reporting, focusing on IT Finance, Staffing, Delivery, and Incident Management.

Project overview

Mission Context

Within the Architecture & Governance department for a company in the Luxury/Retail sector, you will be responsible for steering, optimizing, and developing our Data & Performance roadmap.

In a multi-business context with high steering stakes (IT Finance, Staffing, Delivery, Incident Management), you will act as the guarantor of the reliability, modeling, and performance of our data assets, from the GCP data layer to strategic Power BI reporting.

Your Main Missions

  • Architecture & Modeling (GCP / SQL):
  • Design and optimize business-oriented data marts on the upper layers of GCP (BigQuery, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain ingestion/transformation scripts in Python and complex SQL queries.
  • Integrate heterogeneous sources via APIs / GraphQL (ticketing tools, financial management, ERP/HR tools).
  • Industrialization & Analytics Engineering (Modern Power BI):
  • Model robust semantic datasets and optimize complex measures in DAX.
  • Audit and optimize the performance of existing models using DAX Studio and Tabular Editor.
  • Structure deployments (CI/CD, Git, Power BI deployment pipelines) and automate non-regression tests on data.
  • Business Steering & Governance:
  • Translate requirements from Product Owners, CIOs, and IT controllers into reliable performance indicators (FinOps, productivity KPIs, run/incident analysis).
  • Ensure technical documentation, data traceability, and operational maintenance (MCO).
  • Mission Modalities
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Long term
  • Pace: Hybrid (1 to 2 days remote)
