To support a major Data transformation program, we are looking for 2 freelance Analytics Engineers based in Vienne (38200).

Our client, a major player in the distribution sector with a network of nearly 900 points of sale, is currently modernizing its Data & Analytics ecosystem.

Within a structured Data organization, you will participate in several strategic projects:

You will be involved end-to-end in Data projects, from business scoping to solution delivery.

• Migration of historical environments to Microsoft Fabric.
• Modernization of reporting with Power BI.
• Development of a multi-cloud Data architecture integrating Snowflake, GCP, and Databricks.
• Industrialization of data ingestion and transformation flows (ELT).
• Development of self-service BI and uses around AI and Copilot.
• Scoping and needs analysis
• Gather, challenge, and formalize business needs.
• Write functional and technical specifications.
• Estimate workloads and participate in project prioritization.
• Data Engineering & Analytics
• Design and develop ingestion and transformation pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Model data and ensure its availability in Snowflake.
• Build, optimize, and ensure the reliability of Power BI models.
• Guarantee the quality, reliability, and usability of data and deliverables.
• Support and knowledge transfer
• Train users and business referents (Data Champions).
• Document developments and operational procedures.
• Support teams towards greater autonomy on Data tools.
• Management and coordination
• Manage your scope autonomously.
• Monitor tasks, workloads, and deliverables in Jira.
• Meet quality, budget, and deadline commitments.
• Collaborate closely with Data teams and various business departments.
• Proven experience in Analytics Engineering / Data Engineering.
• Good command of Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Power BI.
• Solid skills in data modeling and ELT pipeline development.
• Ability to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Autonomy, rigor, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of GCP, Databricks, or AI/Copilot uses would be appreciated.
