Angular Developer with AI and Python Expertise

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Angular developer for the further development and maintenance of a modern web application. The position is remote with occasional on-site appointments starting January 2027 and is carried out from Germany.

Responsibilities

You will develop and extend an Angular 22 web application with Standalone Components and signal-based state management. A focus lies on the implementation of data-driven analysis views (time series, maps, tables) via a generic KPI framework with GraphQL connectivity. You will work on WebGL-based map visualization (Deck.gl) and develop editor interfaces for various data objects. Additionally, you will build reusable UI components based on a company-wide design system.

Further responsibilities include connecting REST, GraphQL, and Protobuf interfaces, reducing technical debt, and conceptualizing automated quality assurance measures. You will develop and maintain REST endpoints of the Python backend (FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy) and extend a GraphQL API for the evaluation of large datasets. Serverless data pipelines (AWS Lambda, AWS Batch) are also part of your tasks.

Requirements

You bring proven senior experience in Angular development (at least 5 years of professional frontend development). Experience in the architectural further development of established applications across frontend and backend is required. Knowledge of Python, AWS services, and modern testing approaches are advantageous.
