The role
A leading financial services client is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable contractor to join its finance team on a temporary assignment. You'll own the day-to-day AP cycle and need to be productive from day one.

- Verify, code and process supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Prepare and process payment runs, including electronic transfers
- Reconcile supplier statements to AP records and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end accruals and AP reconciliations
- Maintain AP records and support quarterly audit preparation
- Produce recurring reporting on invoice activity
- Use automation and AI-enabled tools to improve accuracy and flag exceptions
- AP experience within financial services
- Available to start immediately
- 2+ years' AP experience
- Degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Strong Excel skills
- Exposure to AI, automation or data analytics tools
