• Administration and support of AWS EKS and Kubernetes clusters
• Management of S3 buckets, access policies, and data lake connections
• Operation and troubleshooting of Apache Hive, Impala, Iceberg, and Ranger
• Monitoring of availability, performance, capacity, and security
• Analysis and resolution of incidents in the AWS and Data Lake environment
• Support with upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management
• Automation of infrastructure and operational tasks, e.g., with Terraform, Helm, Python, and Bash

Nice to have

• Cloudera Data Platform on the Cloud, Cloudera Data Warehouse, Cloudera Data Engineering, or Cloudera AI
• Dremio Lakehouse

Your Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of Apache Hive, Impala, Ranger, Iceberg, Hive Metastore, and Impala Catalog
• Experience with AWS, especially S3-based Data Lakes, EKS, Auto Scaling Groups, Load Balancers, and AWS Policies
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and the operation of cloud infrastructures
• Start: 2026-10
• Duration: 12 Monate
