Job description
Experienced Application Engineer sought for optimizing intralogistics processes, focusing on SAP EWM and warehouse automation. Role involves system support, configuration, and coordination of interfaces.
Project overview
We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer for the optimization and further development of intralogistic processes. You will act as the central point of contact for the support, administration, and continuous improvement of warehouse management systems.
Your tasks include requirements management and the conception of logistical system solutions, functional support for users and key users, and local system configuration, taking global standards into account. You will coordinate cross-system interfaces between various logistics and production systems and are responsible for planning and validating process and system tests under regulatory requirements.
Furthermore, you will ensure smooth application operation through the analysis and processing of incidents and changes, as well as the management of external service providers. Partial project management tasks will round off your profile.
We expect several years of experience in the support and administration of warehouse management systems, knowledge of warehouse automation and material flow control, as well as practical knowledge in adjacent modules. Ideally, you bring experience with warehouse control systems, driverless transport systems, or fleet management solutions. Understanding of logistical and production-related business processes, as well as experience in a regulated environment, are advantageous.
We are looking for a communicative and team-oriented personality with a structured, solution-oriented approach and strong implementation skills. Experience in cross-site collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is required. Fluent German (C1) and good English skills (B2) are prerequisites.
The position is limited to 12 months with flexible working models (3 days mobile working, 2 days on-site). Willingness to travel 10-20% is required.
