Application Manager (A)

Project overview

For our client, an established company in the financial services sector, we are looking for two experienced Application Managers / IT Integration Specialists to support the MESS and Plankton DevOps teams with their technical expertise in various projects.

Please note that due to current Swiss legislation, we can only consider applications from Swiss citizens, EU citizens, and individuals with a valid work permit.

Remote work from abroad is not possible.

Responsibilities

• Support the MESS and Plankton DevOps teams in various projects
• Integration and support of purchased software solutions
• Connection of applications to existing surrounding systems
• Participation in the MESS team with the integration solutions EBICS, SWIFT, and Multibanking
• Participation in the Plankton team with the integration solutions CLS, SIC, and sanctions screening

Requirements

Soft Skills

• Several years of experience as an IT integration specialist or application manager for purchased software
• Good practical knowledge of Linux servers, Unix shell scripting, and databases
• Experience in connecting applications to surrounding systems
• Knowledge of IBM MQ Series, Linux, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, certificates, as well as Enterprise and Active Directory is an advantage
• Knowledge of Podman, Keycloak, Karaf, and the programming languages Perl or Python is an advantage
• Knowledge of payment transaction solutions such as EBICS, SWIFT, SIC, or CLS is an advantage
• Experience in requirements engineering is an advantage
• German language skills at C2 level and English language skills at B2 level
• Experience working within a DevOps team
• Ability to work on technical integration tasks within the team
• Willingness to support various projects in the respective DevOps team
