Application Manager ECM – Doxis | Freelance

Project overview

For a client in the public sector, we are looking for an experienced Application Manager with in-depth knowledge in Enterprise Content Management (ECM), ideally with a focus on Doxis.

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical administration, configuration, and support of the application. You will act as the central technical point of contact for the business departments, key users, and external service providers, ensuring the stable operation and continuous development of the system.

• Independent administration and configuration of Doxis, especially file structures, workflows, and metadata
• Management of user accounts, roles, and access rights based on existing authorization concepts
• Technical evaluation and implementation of business requirements in coordination with the business departments
• Coordination of further developments with external service providers, taking into account existing processes and systems
• Monitoring the application's functionality and processing of incidents in second-level support
• Coordination and support of maintenance, updates, and version changes, including technical function tests
• Support of existing interfaces at the application level, as well as participation in data migrations and the connection of further systems
• Maintenance of technical documentation for configurations, authorizations, interfaces, and administrative processes
• In-depth experience in Application Management, ideally in the field of ECM/DMS
• Practical knowledge in the administration and configuration of Doxis
• Experience in supporting workflows, metadata, file structures, and authorization concepts
• Knowledge of second-level support as well as in analyzing and resolving application incidents
• Experience in coordinating external service providers and in liaising with business departments
• Understanding of application interfaces, system integrations, and data migrations
• Independent, structured way of working, as well as strong communication skills
