• You are responsible for the functional operation of defined applications and micro-services of a web-based sales platform for private and corporate customers.
• You ensure availability, performance, stability, and quality according to defined SLAs.
• You monitor key performance indicators such as conversion, drop-off rates, and search and booking processes, and derive measures for optimization.
• You manage incident, problem, change, and release management from a functional perspective, prioritize tasks, assess impacts, and oversee acceptances.
• You analyze incidents and problems in 3rd level support and coordinate their sustainable resolution.
• You coordinate internal and external operational partners, releases, deployments, maintenance windows, and the maintenance of runbooks, operational documentation, and processes.
• You assess risks and business impacts and ensure stable operational processes.
• You act as a central functional interface between sales, IT, development, operations, and external partners, and incorporate operational aspects into development early on.
• You initiate and manage measures for stability and performance optimization, conduct root cause analyses, and ensure testability and functional acceptance criteria.
• You create reports on KPIs, incidents, availabilities, and risks, prepare decision documents for stakeholders, and ensure compliance and security requirements.
• Several years of experience in application management or IT operations of complex, customer-critical platforms, ideally in e-commerce or online sales.
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes, especially Incident, Problem, Change, and Release.
• Experience with monitoring tools and KPI management.
• Profound understanding of web architectures, API-based systems, cloud environments, and micro-service architectures.
• A degree in computer science or business informatics.
• Experience in agile setups like Scrum or SAFe.
• Strong analytical skills, high problem-solving competence, and a very good understanding of distributed systems.
• A structured way of working, prioritization skills, and resilience in critical operational situations.
• High management competence, assertiveness, and stakeholder orientation.
• You want to understand contexts in detail and enjoy taking on functional operational responsibility for your module.
• Enthusiasm for logistics and mobility.
• Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, and AWS.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Instana, Graylog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Good German language skills, written and spoken (min. C1).
