Project details
The ArcGIS Web Developer is responsible for the development, extension, and maintenance of GIS web applications within the Esri platform. The profile primarily works with ArcGIS Experience Builder and supports the further digitalization of GIS processes through modern web technologies. The developer is part of the GIS team and works closely with the GIS Manager, GIS Architect, and Functional-Technical Lead. He or she develops new applications based on functional and technical specifications and ensures they meet the organization's quality and performance requirements.
In addition, the developer is responsible for the evolutionary maintenance of existing applications, including modifications at the request of users, upgrades to new software versions, and optimizations of existing functionalities. The profile also supports the analysis and resolution of incidents in production, test, and QA environments.
Besides developing web applications, the employee can contribute to automations and integrations with other technologies such as FME Form and FME Flow. The developer will gradually build in-depth knowledge of the water sector, distribution networks, and the Utility Network implementation within the organization. Work is carried out according to both agile and classic project methodologies, depending on the nature of the project.
The profile has experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, Python, and web-based GIS solutions. Through their technical expertise, the ArcGIS Web Developer makes a significant contribution to the further development of a stable, performant, and user-friendly GIS landscape. In addition, they support the continuous improvement of existing processes and applications and help the organization to maximize the benefits of its GIS investments.
Remote work is possible, with a presence of 3 days per week on-site. The client is located in Ghent.
