Seeking a Cloud Architect for a public sector client to develop and refine target architectures and principles for a unified development environment. The role involves architectural leadership for toolchains, CI/CD, and operational models, with a focus on aligning cloud, platform, security, and integration guardrails.

For our client in the public sector, we are currently looking for an Architect Focus Cloud (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
Knowledge:
- Development and concretization of the target architecture and architecture principles for a unified development environment
- Connection of V-Modell and SAFe via a common, method-neutral SDLC
- Preparation, documentation, and moderation of architecture decisions
- Architectural leadership of toolchain, CI/CD, staging, provisioning, and operating model
- Coordination of cloud, platform, security, and integration guardrails
- Interlinking of architecture work with existing DRV and rvEvolution structures
- Ensuring a consistent architecture approach across existing and modernization efforts
- Establishment of architecture governance and standardized solution paths
- Several years of experience as a Senior / Lead Architect
- Sound knowledge in enterprise, solution, or system architecture
- Experience in cloud and platform architecture
- Very good understanding of SDLC, software engineering, and architecture governance
- Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and container architectures
- Knowledge of SAFe, UML, and BPMN
- Experience in the Java/Enterprise IT environment
- Experience with legacy systems and existing system modernization
- Knowledge of information security and BSI requirements
- Experience in the public administration environment is an advantage
