• Language Skills: Very good German and good English skills
• Experience in network environments (e.g., management tools, network planning, firewall rule sets)
• Experience in the Dell EMC Storage Portfolio (DataDomain), IBM Storage Portfolio (FlashSystem, Spectrum Virtualize, TS4500), and in the design of SAN infrastructures (CISCO MDS; Brocade) in enterprise IT environments (on a scale of >200 storage systems, >300 SAN switches, and >30 SVC clusters) with high availability and cluster approach as well as Smart-Scale solutions
• Experience in Cohesity / IBM Storage Defender Data Protect in enterprise IT environments
• Experience with operating system platforms RHEL, SLES, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Cluster
• Experience in creating private cloud storage/backup concepts (cloud tiering, object storage, hybrid DR architectures)
• Experience with Policy Based High Availability (PBHA) and Policy Based Replication (PBR) as well as NVMe over TCP
• Experience in conception and implementation of automation solutions for recurring storage and backup processes based on the Ansible Automation Platform (provisioning processes; automated configuration and patch rollouts for storage, SAN, and backup components; automated reporting and compliance checks)
• Experience with REST API interfaces
• Experience in agile methods based on Jira and documentation in Atlassian Confluence
• Experience with the following tools: Maximo (Change Management); ARIS; Alfabet (Portfolio Management), Compliance Issue Management Tool

Support in the conceptual development and documentation of storage and backup solutions from different projects with different requirements.

• Development of architecture and process-relevant service modules
• Identification of automation potential and implementation of automation for the storage service (update, deployment, and key figure recording)
• Introduction of new solutions into the regular operations of the operations department and further development of existing solutions.
• Documentation of work results
• Documentation of newly developed and further developed architecture modules and their integration into the existing release and patch management process
• Creation and adaptation of the specified handover documents (Service Description Storage/Backup and Operations Manual Storage/Backup) for operations
• Modeling of technical and procedural changes of the backup and storage service in ARIS. Also, updating in Alfabet.
• Analysis of storage and backup-specific processes and workflows regarding efficiency and technical feasibility, including the creation of change proposals
• New products in the storage/backup environment must be evaluated before future deployment.
