Project Goal

We are looking for an experienced interim Assets Accounting Manager or Senior Asset Accounting Specialist with in-depth SAP expertise to operationally manage and execute fixed asset accounting, as well as to support ongoing transformation and migration activities.

• Start: November 1, 2026
• Duration: 9 to 12 months
• Utilization: 40 hours per week
• Location: Mainz
• Work Model: Onboarding on-site, followed by hybrid work

• Operational management, quality assurance, and complete mapping of fixed asset accounting according to HGB and IFRS
• Execution of all relevant processes in SAP Asset Accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, transfers, depreciation, and period-end closings
• Cleansing and reconciliation of existing asset data and historical balances
• Monitoring and capitalization of assets under construction (AiB)
• Processing of asset disposals across multiple locations
• Central point of contact for internal and external inquiries in the area of Fixed Assets Accounting
• Execution of SOX-compliant controls and maintenance of associated control documentation
• Support with ERP implementations, process harmonizations, and M&A integrations
• Participation in topics related to the migration from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA
• Training and technical support of team members as needed
