What will you do?

As an Atlassian Administrator, you are responsible for the daily management, setup, and further development of our Atlassian Cloud environment. You ensure that the various Atlassian tools work together optimally and align with the needs of our organization. Your activities include:

You are not only responsible for daily management but also actively think about how we can use our tooling smarter, safer, and more efficiently. You will have the space to initiate improvements, apply automation, and discover new possibilities within the Atlassian platform. This will have a direct impact on how teams collaborate, develop, and organize testing. You will work with enthusiastic colleagues within IT, development, test management, and the business.

• Managing, configuring, and optimizing the cloud solutions Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Service Management, and Administration.
• Performing user management, including roles, permissions, groups, and access management.
• Supporting teams in optimally setting up Jira projects, workflows, dashboards, reports, and processes.
• Advising teams and stakeholders on the possibilities and best practices within the Atlassian platform.
• Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Managing and maintaining integrations between Atlassian tools and other systems.
• Monitoring the quality, security, performance, and continuity of the Atlassian environment.
• Collaborating with IT, development, test management, and the business to continuously professionalize the Atlassian environment.
• Developing a government-wide vision for Atlassian tooling.
• Setting up and embedding Back-up functionality for Atlassian.
• Setting up and managing Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Optimizing user management and embedding it within the organization (after SSO implementation).

Requirements

HBO work and thinking level

Several years of relevant experience in managing and configuring Atlassian Cloud environments.

Demonstrable knowledge of Jira.

Demonstrable knowledge of Confluence.

Demonstrable knowledge of Atlassian Administration.

Experience with setting up and managing Single Sign-On (SSO).

Experience with user management, groups, roles, and authorizations.

Experience in translating user and organizational needs into a suitable configuration of Atlassian tools.

A proactive, analytical, and decisive attitude.

Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrable knowledge of Bitbucket.

Demonstrable knowledge of Jira Service Management (JSM).

Experience with Jira Automation and automating workflows and processes.

Knowledge of Atlassian Forge and possibilities for developing or extending Atlassian functionality.

Experience with Atlassian APIs and connecting Atlassian tools with other applications and systems.

Experience with test management in combination with Jira.

Knowledge of integration and identity solutions within a Cloud environment.

Experience with further professionalizing, standardizing, and scaling Atlassian environments.

Good knowledge of Agile working and the associated principles and practices.

Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

Degree to which the candidate has experience with setting up user management, groups, roles, and authorizations, Single Sign-On.

Degree to which the candidate has experience in translating user and organizational needs into a suitable configuration of Atlassian tools.

Degree to which the candidate has knowledge of Bitbucket and Jira Service Management (JSM).

Degree to which the candidate possesses the required competencies and skills (verifiable in CV, motivation, and/or possible interview).

Degree of experience with Jira Automation and automating workflows and processes & experience with Atlassian APIs and connecting Atlassian tools with other applications and systems.
