Project overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Tester for our TITANS freelancers team for a long-term project in the telco environment.
- focus on functional, integration, and automated testing of complex IT systems
- ensuring software quality within telco solutions, especially in the areas of OSS/BSS, CRM, and integration platforms
- combination of manual/functional testing with automated testing, with an expectation of an active approach to improving testing processes and developing automation
Responsibilities
Project requirements
- performing functional testing and assisting with acceptance testing
- design, implementation, and execution of automated tests (integration, E2E)
- collaboration with agile teams on designing appropriate testing strategies
- preparation of test scenarios and test data
- identification and communication of risks, dependencies, and test deadlines
- providing methodological support to colleagues in the area of testing
- adherence to and development of testing standards and procedures
- working with ticketing and reporting bugs
- collaboration in an agile team
- collaboration in a 75% ON-SITE Bratislava mode (HOME OFFICE 5 days / month)
- min. 3 years of experience with:
- functional testing
- automated testing (integration, E2E)
- experience with integration interface testing
- knowledge of trouble ticketing processes
- practical knowledge of testing and development tools:
- Playwright, Selenium
- Swagger
- LoadRunner
- JIRA, TestRail
- Git, Jenkins
- knowledge of data formats and programming languages (at least at code reading level):
- C# / .NET
- Java
- PL/SQL
- XML, JSON
- active knowledge of Slovak and English languages (written and spoken)
- significant advantage: experience with:
- working in a Telco environment, ideally in OSS / BSS
- focus on fixed internet
- CRM systems and integration platforms at a user level (e.g., Tibco)
- performance testing
- understanding complex integration architectures
- very good organizational and communication skills
- ability to effectively solve problems under pressure
- proactivity and analytical thinking
