Availability & Service Continuity Manager - SC Cleared

Project overview

I am recruiting for an Event, Capacity, Availability & Service Continuity Manager to be based 1 day a week in Reading, 4 days remote.

Active SC Clearance is essential.

The role falls inside IR35 so you will need to work through an umbrella company for the duration of the contract.

You will own the proactive management of service health, operational resilience and future service demand across the Service Management operating model. The role provides governance and coordination for Event Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management and Service Continuity Management, ensuring that services remain reliable, scalable and recoverable as users, suppliers, locations and business requirements evolve.

You must have significant experience managing Availability, Capacity, Service Continuity or Event Management practices within a complex enterprise or managed service environment.

Experience operating within multi-supplier, international or security-regulated environments.

Strong working knowledge of ITIL 4 Availability Management, Capacity and Performance Management, Monitoring and Event Management, and IT Service Continuity Management.

Experience operating operational monitoring, alerting and event correlation capabilities and producing and interpreting service availability, resilience, utilisation and performance reporting.

Experience facilitating continuity planning, disaster recovery testing, resilience exercises and service recovery activities.
